Lancer Gridiron Club Financial Report

The Lancer Gridiron Club wants to thank all members and  corporate sponsors for their financial support of SME football. Here is a list of what your support has provided for the SME football program thus far:

• Summer 7 on 7 tournament play, entry fees and T-shirts for all players.
• Bowling party, pool party and Royals outing for all players.
• Meals and Gatorade for 120+ players and coaches at youth camp, high school camp, and Thursdays after conditioning.
•  Sponsored expenses (T-shirts, supplies) for Youth Camp and High School Summer Camp.
•  Provided Lancer football spirit wear for 12 SME football coaches and four SME administration.
•  Purchased new headsets for coaching staff.
•  Repaired video camera for use by coaching staff for game film.
• Purchased 10 spirit and sponsor banners that will be hung at home stadium, on the SME field and other areas in the SME community.
• Produced and printed senior posters/Varsity schedule to be given out at Youth Night and hung in community businesses in the SME area.
•  Purchased travel bags for football players.
•  Provided funds for the production of Senior Yard Helmets.
•  Provided and will continue to provide funds for 5^th Quarter Parties. (Food and entertainment for players, friends, coaches and parents for safe, after game socials.)
•  Printed and produced four 12-page home game programs including a “chalk talk” message from the coach and highlighting coaches, Varsity players, underclass football teams, cheerleaders, Lancer dancers and band members.
• Provided funds for commemorative video featuring all players, games and events throughout the 2009 football season.
•  Provided funds to sponsor and advertise the Blue-Out game; purchased an ad in the Harbinger, produced Blue-Out game day T-shirts.
• Created laminated rosters for all teams, freshmen through Varsity.
•  Provided breakfast for coaches and players for after game practice and films on Saturday morning.

As the season progresses, the Lancer Gridiron Club will continue to provide both financial and volunteer support to the SME football program. Our goal is to provide year-round support in an effort to build a quality and winning football environment for our players, our coaches, our students and fans in the SME area.
